  4.    Features:
  5.    ********
  6. *  Mynotes have 15 pages to save your notes in, also you can rename
  7.    the 15 buttons to the type of notes you store.
  8.    Mynotes does rotary backup on your notes once a day, that if you open it
  9.    daily.   
  10.  
  11. *  Type in any word in the Query window (middle left, little window) and it will
  12.    automatically search, scroll and highlight for the word in  the main text window.
  13. *  Highlight text in the Index window (left hand corner) and it will automatically 
  14.    search the main  text window.
  15.   
  16. *  You can use it as a picture album to store all your graphics but uses hard disk 
  17.    space, at least put your loved ones pictures, Notes best made to put 
  18.    your notes and be able to easily search for it. Also you can view HTML source 
  19.    code. You can also drag and drop Internet or program shortcuts in it.
  20.    
  21. *  Click N2 button  to open another 5 notes pages.
  22. *  Click N3 button  to open another 5 notes pages.
  23. *  Click N1 button  to go back and open the first 5 notes pages.

  25. *  When switching from one text to another, if text is changed it will prompt
  26.    you to whether save changes or not, same when exiting. 
  27. *  Click the Save button  to save text now. 
  28. *  Click the Reset button to reset text to its original contents and cancel 
  29.    changes. (reloads original text), right click text window and select undo to
  30.    undo last change.

  32. *  Highlight text and click Format and select from menu to change text format.
  33. *  Click File\RTF Viewer to open another .rtf(Rich Text Format), text file or any 
  34.  
  35.    HTML page to view script.
  36. *  Click Format\Left Right margin, enter between 0 and up a 1000 if you like, default
  37.    is 200(about 3/8" or 8mm) on each side.
  38.  
  39. *  To change default Font open each .rtf and select type and size font you like,
  40.    or make a new RTF, customize it the way you like and replace all the RTFs in
  41.    the Notes directory but they have to keep original names.
  42. *  Notes 1 Window through Notes 15 text, gets loaded from Notes1.rtf through 
  43.    Notes15.rtf in the Notes directory. Index Window 1, 2 and 3 gets loaded from
  44.    Indexwin1.rtf,  Indexwin2.rtf  and Indexwin3.rtf.
  45.    
  46. *  Every time you open Notes.exe it backs up above the eighteen .rtf files to" 
  47.    Notes backup1" folder in the Notes directory. Backup will stay there until you   
  48.    start Notes.exe again in 22 hours, then backup will transfer to "Notes backup2"
  49.    folder,  backup in "Notes backup2"  gets deleted and  new backup gets created in      
  50.    "Notes Backup1" folder.
  51. *  Click Tools\Backup RTFs, backup all RTFs to Notes BackupM, that is a 
  52.  
  53.    manual  backup.
  54. *  Click File\View RTF and browse to view any RTF, text, HTML code or many other
  55.    files.
  56.    If you drag and drop a Word document then most of the time it will open it,
  57.   
  58. *  To edit and add items to the Index Window, click Tools\Edit Index Window.
  59.    The Index Window is used for the 5 notes, it's marked with *1* and *2* up to
  60.    *5*, when you click Notes 5 for example the Index Window will scroll to the
  61.    *5*, click Notes 2 and will scroll back to *2* but these are not permanent
  62.    marks, so please don't remove them and type in between them to divide the
  63.    Index window.

  65. *  To change program icon, click Tolls\Change Icon, browse to the icon of your
  66.    choice, few icons will be found in MyNotes directory are supplied with MyNotes
  67.    
  68. *  Click Tools\Change buttons names, you can change names of buttons Notes1
  69.    through Notes15. Use the "& Ampersand" before any letter that you want to make
  70.    Hot keys for it, example Notes&1, the 1 will be underlined and it will be the letter
  71.  
  72.    used for hot keys. Also you can edit the Insert 1 and Insert 2 and make 
  73.    it insert any line of your choice.
  74. *  Use NotesLite for fast access of the first two pages of Notes, you can edit
  75.    only one at a time. If you have one open and you open the other then the other
  76.    will be locked.

  78. *  Notes.exe does auto size itself to windows resolution "640/480". "800/600" and 
  79.    "1024/768" and auto wrap text.

  81.     Setup Win95/98/NT:

  84.    To install, double click Setup.exe and select Install for new installation
  85.    and Reinstall for reinstallation. Needs the VB5run with Richtx32.ocx 
  86.    and Comdlg32.ocx available for download at http://www.mslm.com/free.htm.

  88.    Notes contain 15 pages to keep notes in, if you want more just install it in 
  89.    another directory but then you need to fix the Shortcuts in the Start Menu
  90.    to point to the right location.
  91.    Once installed, it will create a directory called MyNotes, in it you will find
  92.    MyNotes and Notes Lite. Notes Lite opens the first two pages of Notes for
  93.    quick and fast access, NotesL .exe can be moved from Mynotes directory
  94.    and be used by itself.
  95.    Notes.exe creates Notes1.rtf through Notes15.rtf, that's where your notes
  96.    will be. (It will not create the RTFs if Setup.exe is in the same directory).
  97.    If NotesL.exe used alone then it will create Notes1.rtf and Notes2.rtf.
